Renewable Energies in the Energy Transition

The Iberian and Ibero-American Congress on Solar Energy will take place from 24 to 26 June 2020 in Lisbon, organized by LNEG (Campus do Lumiar of the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology) and AEDES (Spanish Solar Energy Association). The Congress takes place in a year in which new Renewable Energies targets are presented, as a result of the Paris Agreement Commitments, and where Renewable Energies will have a fundamental role in defending the Planet and the sustainability of future generations.

The Iberian Solar Energy Congress has been held in Spain and Portugal since 1982, and has been held jointly with the Ibero-American Solar Energy Congress in ten of its sixteen editions. Thus, this congress is recognized as the most important and with the longest tradition in the field of solar energy in Portuguese and Spanish languages.
